If I must fight in a war, let it be the war of love against the unloves: fear, hatred, cynicism, rejection, hypocrisy, sickness, and oppression. If I must hold weapons in my hands, let them be those which have been tested and proven by every generation of humanity: gentleness, forgiveness, compassion, mercy, and sacrifice. If I must die with the name of a country on my lips, let it be the country of the homeless, the loveless, and the broken.
